Sustainable Transport

Transport is currently the largest source of greenhouse gas emissions in the UK and decarbonising the transport system is a commitment of the UK Government. The Council adopted a refreshed Environment Strategy (2025 - 2030) in May 2025 which includes Sustainable Transport as one of four themes.
