Apply or reapply for a Blue Badge

Introductory information

You are able to make an application for yourself or on behalf of someone else.

A Blue Badge costs £10.00.

What you will need

• One recent colour passport-style photograph showing your head and shoulders
• Proof of identity (such as a valid passport or valid driving licence)
• Supporting medical evidence dated within the last 12 months
• Proof of address (less than 12 months old) or give us permission to check your details against the Electoral Register
• Proof of benefits

You will also need to know:

• Your National Insurance Number (if you have one)
• The details of your current Blue Badge (if you are reapplying)

Please note that, if you have a non-physical (hidden) disability, we will require, alongside your medical evidence a pro forma completed, which can be downloaded here. You are able to save the application and revisit at any time.
