West Berkshire Lottery

Tickets for West Berkshire's lottery are now on sale. More than 100 good causes in the area have signed up to take part in the West Berkshire Lottery with players able to choose which cause they would like to support. From every £1 ticket sold, 50p goes directly to the chosen cause and another 10p is put into a community fund.

Community Fund

The community fund allows one-off grants to be made to the lottery causes in addition to their direct fundraising and will be awarded by a  panel on behalf of West Berkshire Council.

If you are one of the good causes who are raising funds through the West Berkshire Lottery you can apply for a grant.

At the end of 2021 the Panel issued grants in the total of £17,135 to good causes.

The fund for this year is currently sitting at £20,000.

Apply for the Community Fund

Applications are open from 21 November 2022 for good causes who are participants in the West Berkshire Lottery and have sold ten or more tickets per week over the preceding ten weeks of play, up to the closing date for applications. Please complete the application form below:

Applications should be sent to lottery@westberks.gov.uk and must be submitted by 12 noon on Friday 16 December 2022. Please note that due to the Council's hyrbrid working style, we can only accept paperwork sent in by email to the aforementioned email address.

The panel will meet  in the new year, and we will let you know soon after if your application has been successful.
