Community Champion Awards
The Community Champions Awards recognise the amazing and valuable contributions local residents make to West Berkshire
The Community Champion Awards are an opportunity to say thank you to people who have done something special for their local community and will honour those individuals and community groups who have gone above and beyond to support residents throughout West Berkshire this year.
The award categories for 2022 are as follows (click on the name for each award category to read the criteria):

The closing date for nominations is Monday 2 January 2023.
The winners will be presented with their awards at a ceremony in Feburary 2023 - date to be confirmed. Their details will also be recorded in an exclusive book called the "Roll of Civic Awards" which will be available for future generations to review. The book will be available to view at the Market Street Council Offices.
The Chairman, Councillor Rick Jones, said:
"The Community Champion Awards are a firm favourite for us each year. We enjoy hearing about all residents who make their communities extra special and feel privileged to recognise these efforts on behalf of the district. Community champions don't do what they do for the glory, but nevertheless they are pleased by that what they do has been noticed. If you know someone making a difference in their community, please consider nominating them for one of these awards."
