We'd like your views on the local social, economic and environmental impact of Covid-19 on our residents.

Everyone has experienced significant changes to their daily lives during lockdown, with the closures of businesses, schools and workplaces. Some will have also suffered the loss of a loved one to Covid-19, which will have made this time even more difficult.

The survey should take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete and your feedback will be used to shape the West Berkshire Recovery Strategy, which is being developed to outline the policies, initiatives and actions that we'll undertake alongside our partners to help the district recover from the current situation. Once the strategy is drafted, we will consult with you on our proposals.

We'll also repeat this survey over the next few months in order to gauge whether your views change as lockdown is eased, and the lasting impact of Covid-19 on West Berkshire becomes clearer.

The questions are asked in no particular order and there is an option to leave any question blank, if you don't feel comfortable to answer.

To help improve our future communication and engagement with the community, we'd also like to know about your interaction with us during the coronavirus period.

If you have any questions please contact Performance, Research and Risk Team.

What you told us

We've carried out an initial analysis or your responses, which you can read about in our Headline Findings report.

What we did

Your feedback from this survey has informed our Recovery Strategy and helped us to decide what future actions we should take. The Recovery Strategy will be considered by the Executive Committee on 16 July 2020.

We will repeat the survey in September 2020 (with fewer and different questions) and use your feedback to ensure that our Recovery Strategy still addresses the needs of the residents and the evolving conditions.
