End of week 40

The most sensitive utilities have now been moved to their new location and their appropriate protection has been laid. 

With these utilities in place, work has started on building up the pavement, for the new carriageway lane. This starts by laying a stone sub base, which the tarmac is laid on to. This is similar to the process used for the new link road.

Protection works for the remaining utilities is still being completed while the start of the pavement is being constructed. This includes concrete surround for the orange street lighting ducting.
