Carers' Forum
The West Berkshire Carers' Forum is the voice of carers in this area. It presents carers' views to Health services and Community Care, advises on the use of the Carers' Grant and supports and informs carers in general. All carers are welcome to attend the Forum meetings. For details and times, contact the Princess Royal Trust for Carers.
Joint Carers Newsletter - 'Care Matters'
'Care Matters' is a newsletter produced under the umbrella of the Princess Royal Trust, and is sent to all carers registered with them. You can download it on this page. It contains lots of useful information from many different voluntary organisations and details of events you might find interesting and enjoyable.
Carers' Strategy Group
The Carers' Strategy Group consists of representatives from social care services, Primary Care Trust, the health trust for people with learning disabilities and mental health problems, local voluntary organisations and carers.
Copies of the Carers Plan can be downloaded from this page or you can contact the Community Care Team - Contact Centre to have a copy sent to you.
'Carers Plan 2005-2007'
This group, after consultation with the wider public, has prepared a Carers Plan describing the aims for carers' services and how these will be achieved.
