Environmental Health helps to maintain and improve the health, safety and welfare of those at home, work or play.

West Berkshire Council's Environmental Health team seeks to maintain and improve the health, safety and welfare of those at home, at work or at play by enforcing the law, suggesting best practices and giving advice, and responding to service requests. We do this by investigating complaints, inspecting land, building and workplaces, carrying out research and meeting with individuals, the voluntary sector and trade groupings to get their views.
