Animal Boarding Establishments
Premises boarding cats and dogs (catteries and kennels) require a licence from the Council.
The Animal Boarding Establishments Act 1963 regulates premises that board cats and dogs and provides for powers of inspection by the Council at all reasonable times.
All premises must satisfy basic standards for the health, welfare and safety of the animals boarded.
