These pages provide information on a range of professional and community arts activity both within and near to West Berkshire
The Arts have a vital role to play in all of our lives and participation in the arts is encouraged by West Berkshire Council through the support of facilities providing outlets for arts activity and also for community and amateur arts organisations throughout the district.
Arts activity is available in a number of locations throughout West Berkshire from the Watermill Theatre in Bagnor through to touring work and amateur productions which have been performed in village halls and community centres. The following are the main venues within West Berkshire.
West Berkshire is home to a range of arts festivals from the internationally renowned Newbury Spring Festival through to a variety of specialist or community based festivals
