West Berkshire's Cycle Forum is becoming one of the most successful Cycle Forums in the Country.  It was formed in September 2003 and meets quarterly - January, April, July and October. The members of the Cycling Forum represent a number of different cycling interests from local and regional campaign groups to those who manage the delivery of cycling infrastructure in West Berkshire and local businesses.

This is a very effective partnership which ensures the best possible decisions are made for cycling in West Berkshire. The English Regions Cycling Development Team (ERCDT) have been quoted as saying, "the Forum is performing well, with all groups learning from each other and [there being] a real desire to improve performance in a collaborative way". In addition to this, West Berkshire's Cycle Forum has been heralded as "best practice" for other local authorities to adopt.

The following cycling organisations are represented on the Cycle Forum:
 - CTC
 - West Berkshire SPOKES
Newbury Road Club
 - Sustrans

The West Berkshire Cycling Champion (Cllr Adrian Edwards) also attends the forum.

Achievements of the Cycle Forum:
- Bikeability cycle training available to all year 6 pupils who wish to receive it.
- Helped to develop the Cycling Strategy for West Berkshire
- Newbury & Thatcham Cycling Map & Guide
- 5 Rural Cycle Route Maps
- New consultation arrangements for planning applications and Council schemes
- Commenting on National Policy
