As part of the Council plan, we want to encourage people in West Berkshire to change to a greener way of life with an aim to increase recycling and keep West Berkshire a clean place to live. In 2009/10 we recycled and composted 38% of our waste and we are aiming to recycle at least 41% of our waste this year.
