What's on at Riverside Youth and Community Centre

The Riverside Youth Community Centre in Rosemoor Gardens is the main hub for the Central Area Team of West Berkshire Youth Service.

The Centre itself hosts many different weekly events and functions from community meetings to sports clubs to parent toddler groups. The Centre itself is well equipped with a Small Hall- perfect for dance lessons, parties and community meetings, a cafe area and kitchen- ideal for cooking food for a small group; a sports hall - with Badminton, Basketball court and also a floodlit Multi Use Games Area with a five a side pitch marked out. All of these facilities can be booked. The Area teams main aims are to encourage, initiate and support youth work development in Newbury (Riverside Centre) and Thatcham (Moorside Centre).

The team's main objective is to encourage, support and advise local youth & community groups within the following Parishes / Town areas:

Newbury North of the A4, Clay Hill, Cold Ash,  Shaw cum Donnington and Speen 

What's on?

The North Newbury Area Team supports the following opportunities for young people and the whole community:
Evening youth clubs / Discos and live music gigs / Detached youth work (youth workers on the street) / Coffee Bars / Young Parents Clubs / Over 50's club / Adult Classes / Toddler groups.
