Central Area Youth Team
The Central Area Team covers the following Parishes: Newbury, Thatcham, Greenham, Shaw cum Donnington, Cold Ash, Bucklebury, Midgham, Brimpton, Wasing, Enbourne, Speen, Hamstead Marshall, Boxford and Welford
The team is based at Riverside Community Centre, Rosemoor Gardens, Newbury and Moorside Community Centre in Urquhart Road, Thatcham.
Young people aged 13 – 19 can access a comprehensive range of activities at each of the centres where the facilities include sports halls, floodlit multi use games areas, music facilities and a team of dedicated youth workers. In addition, teams of detached youth workers are working on the streets of Thatcham and Newbury on a number of evenings each week.
We are here to provide opportunities where young people can voluntarily engage in activities that are challenging, supportive and exciting. So if you've got an idea and want to see if the youth service can make it happen- drop in to one of our clubs and chat to one of the youth workers.
