Work Related Road Safety

Legislation on 'Driving at Work' affects every employer. Managers have a Duty of Care to ensure that they are effectively managing work related road safety. All businesses should have a road safety policy and a sufficient system to identify, manage and monitor road risks.

Reducing risks associated with the driver, the vehicle and the journey forms an essential part of this process.  The Traffic & Road Safety Team works with local businesses to help them reduce their accident frequency and provides resources for employers to encourage them to manage the risk.
