Recycle For West Berkshire

Did you know in West Berkshire we produce over 80,000 tonnes of rubbish a year? We need to do something to reduce the amount of rubbish we throw away. We all need to recycle more of the right things more often.

Putting recycling containers out

The good news is that it is easier than you might think. We collect materials for recycling from your home every fortnight. We also provide local recycling centres and a Household Waste Recycling Centre for additional materials.

Please view these pages for more information on the recycling services provided in West Berkshire for residents.

In addition to the kerbside recycling scheme, you can also recycle other materials at your local recycling centre - perhaps you can combine it with a shopping trip?

Kerbside Recycling
West Berkshire Council have introduced a new kerbside recycling service which now includes the collection of cardboard, plastic bottles and green waste.

Residents in West Berkshire are able to recycle a wider range of materials at local Household Waste Recycling Centres. These centres provide convenient and accessible points for recycling and disposal of household rubbish.
