Bridges and Structures
The Council maintains a register of over one thousand bridges and other highway structures within west Berkshire.
You can report a problem with a bridge or other structure here.
The Bridges and Structures Team are responsible for the maintenance of all existing structures and the design and construction of all new structures within West Berkshire District.
An abnormal load is a vehicle that is outside the classification of normal permitted traffic by virtue of its gross weight, length, width or axle configuration according to current road vehicle regulations.
The Projects Team manage the delivery of a programme of bridge improvements and maintenance schemes.
