Local Development Framework (LDF)
The Local Development Framework will eventually replace the Local Plan. It will include a number of local development documents that outline how planning will be managed in our area.
The Core Strategy
The Core Strategy will set out our overall planning vision for the area and will be the basis for all subsequent documents produced as part of the LDF.
The Core Strategy was submitted to the Secretary of State on 9 July 2010 for independent examination. The Submitted documents can be viewed on the Core Strategy Submission page. Information on the Examination into the Core Strategy can be viewed on the Core Strategy Examination page. Information on the consultation on the Post Submission Schedule of Proposed Focused Changes to the Core Strategy which runs from 3rd September to 15th October 2010 can be found here.
