The centre is for recycling only and will not accept:
General rubbish
Gas Bottles
Asbestos
Household chemicals
Plasterboard
The site cannot accept furniture. This can be taken to Newtown Road Recycling Centre, Newbury and will be donated to the Community Furniture Project.
Site Restrictions:
The site can not accept any vehicles over 2m (6.6ft) high
Trailers are permitted as long as the combined vehicle and trailer length is less than 8.8m (29ft).
No Luton type vehicles, vehicles fitted with tail lifts or horse boxes are permitted to use the site. The site can only accept household waste.
There is no public access onto the site by foot.
Trade Waste:
Trade Waste is not accepted at this site.
Pro-Grow is a fine grade, peat free soil conditioner, made from green garden material generated by households in West Berkshire. This product is rich in nutrients and essential trace elements, providing plants with an ideal growing medium. Residents can buy Pro-Grow from the site office and the cost is £3 per 30 litre bag. Please note that only cheques can be accepted for Pro-Grow as the site can no longer take cash.
