To help you with your event
Community activity and events can range in size from a street party for neighbours through to a specific activity aimed at attracting people from a wider area. Here you will find information to help you in the planning stages of your activity.
Street parties by definition are small scale, aimed at the residents in one or two streets without any external publicity - more information to help you make your street party a success can be found at The Street Party website. Anyone looking to organise a street party in West Berkshire is advised to read to read the local
Street Party Policy [31kb] of the Local Authority and complete the
Street Party Application Form. [55kb].
For larger events, whether a village fete or a three day rock concert, the West Berkshire Safety Advisory Group has developed some
guidelines [736kb] which if considered during the planning of an event can help it to run more smoothly.
