**NEW**   Department for Education Guidance on teachers' pay and model policy

The DfE has published on its website the draft School Teachers Pay and Conditions Document 2013, with guidance on the changes that come into effect on 1 September 2013. Included in the guidance is a model pay policy. Click here to view/download all the information available.

Changes to Department for Education Website

The DfE have been making gradual changes to their website which now seem to be complete. Much content has been moved but the Schools section, including Governance, remains. The department has also set out its Vision for School Governance. Click here to find out what that is.

Ofsted Data Dashboard

Ofsted now issues key information for every school for the use of governors. It includes headline data on pupil progress, performance and attendance in the context of schools of similar type and nationally. To download the data dashboard for your school, click here and enter your school's name or postcode.
