Parking Enforcement

In West Berkshire the Council is responsible for parking enforcement both on-street and in the off-street car parks.

There are two main topics covering parking enforcement in this section, what to do if you receive a parking ticket and general information about parking enforcement in West Berkshire.

Dangerous and illegal parking causes problems for pedestrians, residents, traders and other road users and the Council uses civil parking enforcement through the Traffic Management Act 2004, to undertake parking enforcement.

The Council's Civil Enforcement Officers are a distinctive and regular sighting across the district to work with you, serving the residents and motorists alike.
