82% get their first choice of primary school

Figures just released by West Berkshire Council, show that 82.4% of those in West Berkshire applying for a place at a primary school in the district got their first choice of school

There were 1,697 applications in total, and those offered their first choice of school numbered 1,398.

126 were offered their second choice, 58 their third choice. The remainder were offered places at other schools.
