The site is open 7 days a week and operated by Veolia Environmental Services.

Please be aware the site can be very busy around any bank holiday and on sunny weekends
The site cannot accept any vehicles over 2m (6.6ft) high.
Trailers are permitted as long as the combined vehicle and trailer length is less than 8.2m (27ft).
No Luton type vehicles, vehicles fitted with tail lifts or horse boxes are permitted to use the site.
There is no public access onto the site by foot.
Trade waste is not accepted at this site.
There are facilities at this site to recycle the following:
* Please be aware that the site can not currently accept liquid emulsion or water-based paints, at this time. The site can however accept dried paint that is in a solid form.*

At Newtown Road Recycling Centre, you can also dispose of general household rubbish.
Pro-Grow is a fine grade, peat free soil conditioner, made from green garden material generated by households in West Berkshire. This product is rich in nutrients and essential trace elements, providing plants with an ideal growing medium. You can buy Pro-Grow from £3 per 30 litre bag, 2 bags for £5 and 4 bags for £10. Please pull in at the lay-by by the office and ask for assistance from a member of staff. We can accept cheques and cash in payment for Pro-Grow.
