Cycling in West Berkshire
In association with Local Transport Plan 2007-2011 West Berkshire Council has produced a cycling strategy. the strategy and associated action plan can be found by clicking on the appropriate downloads to the right.
Cycle monitoring is carried out three times a year, in June, October and February. A summary of the results can be found to the right.
The Newbury and Thatcham cycle map and a series of rural cycle maps can be downloaded from the right, or hard copies are available on request.

Cycling Advice and Guidance on standards expected for new developments have been developed and can be found to the right. This guidance has been developed to allow developers and businesses understand the levels of cycle parking that West Berkshire Council expect with new developments.
