Street Active

Street Active is West Berkshire Council's holiday activity programme organised by the Arts and Leisure Development Team. The sessions are for young people aged 11 years and over and give an opportunity to try their hand at a varied programme of fun activities. All activity is FREE of charge and led by fully qualified coaches, instructors and artists and sessions are available across West Berkshire.

The programme for the school summer holidays is now finished.   

Activities that were included in the summer programme:

• Canoeing
• DJ Workshops
• Angling
• Graffiti Art
• Skateboarding
• Electric Guitar Workshop
• Volleyball
• Music production

The Arts and Leisure Development Team are currently working hard to finalise the next programme and will release the details here when they can be confirmed.  Keep checking back.

To take part in Street Active sessions no experience is necessary, however,  due to the drop in nature of the sessions staff will not be responsible for young people once they have chosen to leave.
